I do NOT Think that Gambling Should be Banned

Everyone needs to learn responsible behavior and know their limits. Just because my husband has that addiction demon inside his head, doesn’t mean that Joe Blow down the street shouldn’t be able to go and piss away $20 once a year. If everything that one person on this entire earth may have an addiction to were banned than we would all be living in rubber rooms with straight jackets on to protect us from ourselves.

I’m not sure if you noticed, but I used Joe Blow instead of myself in the above paragraph because one thing that my husband’s addiction has done is cure any urge that I may have to go to the casino. I may be on to something here, if all people with gambling problems would marry a person with a gambling addiction, then maybe we could at least cure half of the potential gambling addicts in this country.

But now I’m getting silly.
