As I stated in my last post, I had two reasons why I wanted and needed to change the voice on my blog. Reason 1 was the fact that my “depressing feel sorry for me” blog posts were perpetuating into the rest of my life. My confidence was dwindling with every “feel sorry for me” post that I published. I’m not saying that every post will be written from the standpoint of me doing cartwheels around the house, which is not a pretty sight, but something really needed to change.

On to reason number two, which I touched on in my last post. No one wants to read about someone that is just asking for sympathy every time they visit. How long could I just reword this, “My life is rough right now, feel sorry for me”. I’m sure I was driving off readers by the 10’s, I don’t get enough traffic to say that I was driving visitors off by the thousands.

So with both reasons why I have turned a 180 in my writing off my chest, watch for the new and more confident me in my future blog posts.

I’m sure this is heading in the right direction, let me know what you think.

You are awesome! Good for you for turning things around. I do not think your previous “feel sorry for me” post were a bad thing because it was what was going on at that point and time, but it is so good to read that you are pulling yourself up form that place. I totally understand how the writing could bring you down more, but hey, you figured it out and are stepping forward. You are in my awe.
